At ZUMEE, our journey began with an ambitious vision: to develop lightweight, self-driving vehicles capable of conquering off-road environments, competing with heavier, more expensive alternatives. Founded in Port Talbot, Wales in 2019, we se out to design and develop cutting-edge AI solutions, including smart apps and autonomous vehicles.
The genesis of ZUMEE
Our initial drive was to create a lightweight, self-driving vehicle for challenging off-road use, aiming to offer a more accessible alternative to bulky, costly machines. This ambition led us to a fruitful collaboration with CEMET and the University of South Wales, where we successfully built a self-driving robot. Our pioneering research and findings were proudly published in a dedicated conference paper, laying the foundation for our AI-driven future.
